This is a really good story. Watching 2 people who had suffered from the manipulation of another, reunite and reconstruct their shattered relationship was intriguing. Follow up book about their daughter is also a good read. You feel like you are on the sidelines watching these events as if they actually took place. I personally have never read either storyline before. Keeper.

What a powerful and brutal story set in American frontier during the Indian wars. I was so engrossed and could just feel the emotions of the characters in this action packed fast paced tale. After 14 years of separation, Sarah forced Thomas to help her rescue their daughter from the Sioux.

This book was eye-opening. I was really hurting for the characters especially the daughter. The ending had me crying, it was so touching.
