The Berenstain Bears and the Haunted House by Jan and Stan Berenstain is a story about Brother Bear and Sister Bear exploring a haunted house. They are in the house because they are looking for their cat, Gracie. Is she hiding somewhere in the house? Brother and Sister Bear look through doors, windows, behind curtains and all around to see if Gracie is there.

37 months - lift the flap book. Kids always seem to enjoy these but I find them quite dull. Open this to see, look inside to find... Can't anyone write better dialogue that incorporates flaps?
Natalie is a big Papa Bear fan, so I got this out for her out of the limited selection left for Halloween books. We only read it once since it was so long. Fun for older kids who can follow the story enough to enjoy the flaps more.

Stan and Jan Berenstain (often called The Berenstains) were American writers and illustrators best known for creating the children's book series the Berenstain Bears. Their son Mike joined them as a creative team in the late 1980s.
