I love this book! Not only does it explain why we have a pledge, but it defines all of the difficult words in the Pledge of Allegiance. This would be a great book for students because many students do not know why we say the pledge every morning much less what all of the words mean. This would be a great book for all of the grades!

Interesting little book about the history of the pledge. Great resource to help your students understand why we say it and what it means.
