ages 2 and up. I love the simple artwork of this book. The flaps that can be lifted present a great opportunity for children to be involved in the story and help with print motivation. The thicker cardstock pages can be useful for toddlers to transition from board books and can help toddlers increase in print awareness. The question answer format can help introduce 1-2 year olds to the patterns of spoken language (narrative skills). All around cute and enjoyable book.

This was a nice lift the flap book read at story time today. Very similar in structure to Where's Spot, but a mouse is looking for a friend outside, versus a mom dog looking for her pup inside. A nice variety of animals (elephant, fox, turtle) and a cute ending.

This wasn't the thick card board board book, but wasn't paper pages either.

This book shares the story of when Mouse finds a note from her friend Bear...and goes to find him. With lift the flaps, her adventure seeking him in different places is related. These titles always leave me going "awwwww" and this one is no exception. Children will enjoy the myriad of animals and the sweet ending.

This is a sweet tale about a mouse who is looking for her friend. The narrative is short and simple, the illustrations are cartoonish and colorful, and the lift-the-flap feature is sure to entertain young children. Our girls are too old for this kind of book, but I thought it was charming.

This is currently one of my nearly three-year-old's favorite bedtime stories. He loves flipping the flaps and guessing what animals lay behind. He always hugs me at the end and says he'll miss me during the night too.

It's a sweet story with lovely illustrations.

My daughter and I enjoyed this one. The illustrations are brilliant and the ending was so sweet. We will be sure to read other books by this author in the near future.

Yes, nice selection of animals under the flaps, but what's with that mean, ugly monkey!!!?? He's just plain scary looking!! Love the mouse and strawberries.
