I am still loving this series but this volume did not entirely impress me. I felt like the larger scenes were too intensely cluttered and I miss the turned two page lay outs. I enjoyed the freaks vocabulary. the plot doesn't rush much, reference a bunch, nor introduce many villains or main players. there is emotional shading added to the story by the negative reactions Wanda has for spawns visible image, that twisted heart ache will be used to further the plot.
The Violator is back for another short battle in this volume. We also meet The Freak, which was kind of a boring storyline for me, even though the images were amazing. The storyline with Jason Wynn, Terry, Wanda and Spawn is still progressing.
