I was pleasantly surprised to find this title as the previous Jacqueline Wilson books I have read have been aimed at young women rather than a mixed audience, "Buried Alive" is the tale of a boys adventure which happens to feature a rather familiar female character called Kelly as a side kick to the two best friends. This is probably best for solitary readers rather than a read aloud story time due to the fact that it is a sequel to Wilson's "Cliffhanger" and so some may be familiar with the cha...more

A short read about Tim and Biscuits, two best friends who have quite an adventurous little vacation by a Welsh seashore. Although the main characters are boys, Tim, the narrator, shares a lot of traits with many of Wilson's girl main characters: outcast, somewhat of a cowardly weakling with no self-confidence, but eventually finds inner strengths and come out on top. Plenty of funny scenes and slightly unsettling personality traits of the "best friend" of the main character.

This boom wasn't very good. I thought it was quite boring. Tim, Kelly and Biscuits said in Cliffhanger. It wasn't a good storyline; I thought it was not exciting. As much as I love Jacqueline Wilson, this has got to be the WORST book she has ever wrote!

I hated the bullies.I can't believe the Prickle-head didn't even care when Tim saved his life. But I really like how Biscuits can eat everything really. One of the happiest books Jacqueline Wilson ever wrote.

This book was utterly boring. A poor sequel to Cliffhanger, which wasn't the greatest of books either, with a rubbish plotline. I wouldn't recomend this for anyone other than the mentally retarded.

Buried Alive was hilarious. Simply amazing!!! This book is also great for boys. It is funny and it is realistic fiction.

I felt it is just the same as Cliffhanger. It's a really nice book and it has lots of adventure and anticipation.

Obviously this book is not aimed at adults, so if I was a 7 year old I might have liked it more.
