A very good book in the Osprey Duel series. Covers the overall basics of British and German dreadnoughts without delving down into the minutae. I also like that Mr. Stille attributes the losses of the British battlecruisers at Jutland to the volatility of British projectile propellent (as does John Campbell in his book, Jutland), rather than to the stereotypical "BCs were underarmored, so they couldn't stand up to heavy firepower". Highly recommended.
