It's been thousands of years since Raum's angelic wings turned from white to black, and the Destroyer of Dignities and Robber of Kings never looked back. These days he's also on the outs with Hell and works with a motley crew of ex-demons on a new mission: snuffing out lesser demons and their half-human progeny.Raum's latest assignment brings him to a small Vermont town--a...more

I really enjoyed Kendra Leigh Castle’s Renegade Angel. The hero Raum was a great bad-boy. He was a fallen angel and he loved every minute of it. He had no hero delusions, made no apologies, and had no desire to be a good guy, but lately, however, he had been a bit apathetic. Unfortunately his apathy led to his downfall. Due to his enemy Mammon suc...more

I haven't finished this book yet, but wow! It is amazing! I'm loving every word on every line on every page, it is just way too hard to put down. It's kept me up all night because I am sucked into the story.

This is the first book I have ever read by Kendra Leigh Castle but may I say what a brilliant author she is. She knows exactly how to hold the readers interests with saucy little scenes and very serious scenes and strangely humorous scenes too. This book includes a little bit of everything, t...more

Kendra Leigh Castle has done it again! This story is nothing short of heart stomping and an absolutely delicious paranormal romance that will knock your socks off. Action packed and sizzling hot don't even come close to how scorching this one is.

Ember is such a beauty but is in hiding and she doesn't really even know why other than she seems to pose a danger to anyone whom she might get close to. She knows there is something wrong with her but it quickly becomes weird out time when she finds out...more

I really enjoyed the book and I am hoping that there is to be a series that will continue the stories of these characters, allowing each of the ex-Fallen to find their own heroine.

Raum is the hero - a Fallen angel who has been exiled from Hell (one of seven actually). He and his fellow ex-Fallen contract out to Heaven when there is dirty work to be done. Raum's assignment is to protect Ember (the heroine) who is half-human and half-demon and all Breaker. She is meant to break the Nexus which wil...more

Raum is a Fallen Angel that has been cast out of Hell. With no where to go, he plays both sides--Heaven and Hell. Arrogant to a fault, he's a gorgeous entity that no human or half-demon gal can resist. He volunteers to play Guardian Angel to Ember, who is a half-demon capable of opening a vortex and letting all Hell loose on earth. She is unaware of her power and didn't realize an otherworldly world existed. Raum shows her this world among other things. The attraction the two have for each other...more

Absolutely loved this book!

Raum is a fallen angel, a demon of hell the Destroyer of Dignities and the Robber of Kings. A self loathing demon with no heart and no hope of ever being forgiven.

Ember is just the woman to be his undoing, a temper and passion to match his own and bring his wall tumbling down.

A fight of good vs evil (like always) to keep the bad guys down in Hell from spilling onto Earth and destroying humanity. All that stands in the way of Hells plans are a for-hire fallen angel an...more

This was the first Harlequin Nocturne I've picked up, and I enjoyed it. I'm not normally one for the Angels and Demons stories, but I enjoyed the incorporation of everything other - vampires, werewolves, witches, et cetera. Raum was dark and unable to believe he was, as Ember put it, "nuanced." Ember was bright, capable, and unashamed of her darker side. The characters were interesting and their steamy scenes were steamy. I can tell this is going to be a series, and I'll be picking up the next o...more

An gorgeous but taciturn fallen angel forced out of hell by a rival is now working on the side of the light. His mission - keeping a lovely half demoness from unleashing hell on earth. His hidden agenda - using her to wreck revenge on his rival. His downfall - or his redemption is in her hands as she begins to thaw his cold heart and bring light back to his life.

Got this because some of the characters play key roles in her new series. It certainly filled in the missing pieces there. Interesting world and characters.

I'm surprised that this one was so good. See, I don't have much faith in Harlequin Nocturnes. This one, though, is solid.

I'm considering buying the print copy so I can mark it up and use the format. Really compelling story and has all the elements in the right places. Loved it, and read it practically in two sittings. Will add everything she writes to my TBR shelf.
