I liked the art of this book, but found the story a little too simple and saccharine to be one I wanted to read again. I teach second graders and that shapes my sensibility. Maybe younger kids would like this one, but I don't think my students would.

I briefly flipped through this one, barely taking note of the words of the story, but simply allowing the impact of the art to wash over me... it is an incredibly beautiful story book.

Real review to follow...
I thought this was a little bit scary to start with but the ending was very heartwarming.
