A Breach of Trust

Nina Lawson has just won 16 million dollars in the Texas lottery. A simple girl, she has simple plans. She and her fiancé, Rick, start planning to get their finances in order, get married and live happily ever after.

But before they can claim the winnings, Nina learns that she is actually still married to Todd. Now that she’s won the lottery, he wants his half. If that weren’t bad enough, relatives she barely ever talked to are coming out of the woodwork and Rick’s whole disposi

Nina Lawson is estatic when she finds out she won millions of dollars in the Texas Lotto. And when she assures her fiance, Rick Henderson, it isn't just her money but "their" money, he's happy that he'll finally be able to live his dream of owning a business. The word gets out about Nina's big win and family she hasn't seen in quite some time shows up expecting their share. This isn't really a problem for Nina since she has a giving heart and wants to share the wealth to bring happiness to certa ...more
Soooo, this was a clean yet drama filled book and I have to say that it was a very decent read. I was able to put the book down and I wasn't rushing back to it but I found myself very curious to see what was going to happen next. It had some very funny moments that made me laugh out loud as well as a couple of "NO THE HELL HE/SHE DIDN'T"! The book flowed very well and I can't remember seeing not one single typo or hiccup, thats always a beautiful thing! Over all it was a very enjoy ...more
My first novel by this author. This book was really good and I would recommend her to anyone that has yet to read something by this amazing author!
This book showed us how real life can get, minus the lottery winnings.
Very good reading but predictable. I knew what the outcome would be for Nina.

I loved this book. The author was not shy about starting off with the story from the beginning. I was able to predict PART of the ending, but definitely not all of it. I couldn't put the book down. I'm sure some might feel the main character was a little naive at times, but I honestly feel that she was realistic. I read this a lot faster than I normally read books. It was a great, easy read. I also thought it was a religious book based on the title, but the synopsis shows it's not and I'm glad i ...more
I thoroughly enojoyed this story. I felt for Nina and what seemed like her everlasting bad luck. Prayed for Todd to face reality instead of holding onto his pride. Wanted to slap Pam, shake her, hire someone to scare her off lol, she was definitely a thorn in my side. The grandmothers in this story were hilarious!! I loved the wisdom and humor they provided as well as Todd's mother. I'm still a fan of Ms. Tate after this one, I'd definitely recommend.
When I was reading this book, I probably set it down 5 times at the most. I would be at a tailgate reading, as people constantly asked me what I was reading, I would get exhausted and excited at the same time. I had others wanting to read the twist and turns of this book. The shocking ending is what I really loved, and it also had me thinking about forgiveness and acceptance.
This book taught me one not tell anyone when I hit the lottery! Nina Lawson did what most of us would do...she tried to share. Sharing however, wasn't enough for some people and she had to deal with some issues she hadn't counted on. Money does not always buy happiness. Good book. Some unpredictability and some things you knew would happened did

Interesting lesson learned! Nina Lawson learned the hard way that when you win the lottery, keep it to yourself! Between her greedy family, her cheating ex-husband, the slutty home wrecker and other assorted thugs, Nina's dream-come-true, turned into a nightmare! Nicely done!
I haven't read a book in 30 hrs in a long time. I didn't want to put this one down! Now I'm sorry I waited so long to read it. Definitely a page turner with real & relatable characters that annoy you to no end...but they're relatable & we all have someone we know just like them.
Another great book by ReShonda Tate Billingsley!! I could not put this book down which resulted in this being read in a day. I could see the ending coming, but it was still a nice surprise and a great read! I love her writing style and look forward to reading more titles by Billingsley!

this book is intresting and it is about a man who cheated on his wife with a women n he filled for divorce and when they did his mistress never filled the divorce and she never filed the whole divore. So when the other wife got millions he came back to her
This was my second book by this author. This book was a SisterIISister book club selection. All the readers enjoyed the book but one thing we all agreed on was that her ex did not deserve one penny of her lottery winnings
Feels like a movie script, rather than a book. The characters lack depth, and didn't resonate with me. I know I read fast, but I finished the book at the Coffee Shop in 2 1/2 hours--there just was not a lot of substance there.
This book was qreat ! It was crazy , though . That i must admit . I would have never thought her TO-BE husband would do her the way he did , but everything worked out .
I loved it. I couldn't put it down. I guess I just really identified with the characters. First fictitious book I've really enjoyed in a long time.

I thought it was a good read. I can't say it was a happy ending because the ending was unrealistic to me but all in all good.
