Haven still blames Ever for the death of her boyfriend Roman, no matter how hard Ever’s tried to convince her it w
Who gives a flying fuck?
I hated Haven from the start, what a bitch. I wanted her gone ever since she became an immortal. She is annoying... Not to mention self centered. (ALLL OF THE TIME!)
*Makes sarcastic surprised face* Who knew that Ever would doubt Damen again>? I hate how she finally says yes I trust him and then one tiny thing, any bit of unknown information that he hasnt shared with her and she jumps ship. Right back to the I dont trust you any ...more
Oh LAWD, this series just it doesn't stop being dumb.
What am I saying, this is The Immortals series. At least this book didn't misuse Wicca, because that damn Hekate thing was going to make me choke a muggle.
Alright, new book, same shit. Ever and Damon still can't have sex with one another, but they manage to have chaste kisses in the memories in their past lives. In the mean time, they are dealing with Haven who [surprise, surprise] is evil. Plus, there is teen ...more
So once again, Ever sees something from her past that Damon kept from ...more
Every time you see the words "tingle and heat," take a swig. I guarantee you'll be plastered by the time you finish the book in one sitting. We get it, your boyfriend makes you feel all warm and fuzzy. Move the hell on.
If you're not wasted by this point, go ahead and throw in another shot for every cheesy mention of a red tulip. If you're not three sheets by now, you have a heartier constitution than I.
I don't want to waste too much of my precious free time writing m ...more
This 5th installment of the Immortals series left me with hope. We start the book off with Ever and Damen training for the fight that they know is coming with Haven. After Jude killed off Roman in book 4, Haven is on the rampage, completely blam ...more
First of all, this is the most slow paced book ever. No excitement, no nada. Okay so, Ever discovers that she was a slave in one of her past lives, who lost who family in a fire, and who was her hero? Damen. He rescued her by buying her, by later going back to try and buy her family. Little did he know that Roman snuck in the night a light the place in flames. Jude, who was also part of the salved family, decides to give it a go and try to win her back. Which, like always, he ...more
This book is boring really truly boring and the fact that I have to somehow find a way to finish it is utter torture “I never change my habits and one of them is to never give up on a book and not finish it” so here I am trying to finish the 200 pages that are left ,not much huh?!!
Btw I kept on reading the words “make no mistake ever” that I imagin ...more
Whenever Ever says she knows she's doing the right thing you know she has made the wrong decision and unfortunately, she says this a lot. What bugs me most is that she always thinks that she knows better than the guy who has had 600 years of life experience. She's so self-righteous it drives me insane.
Although, I will give her this...she has chang ...more
This rating is two and a half...
Ever and Damen are still trying to figure out how to solve their little problem—and, damn it, they’re on this same page since Blue Moon, this is kind of getting old! On the other hand, they need to deal with the Haven situation—Ever knows Haven coming after her, it’s just a matter of time.
Haven is a pain in the neck, I must say. I’ve never really liked her character, she was never a really good friend, and ap ...more
Thank goodness I'm almost over! I can't stand this books! Now I understand what people meant by the absurdness of this pathetic Immortals series. All I want is the last book to arrive, read it, and then get on with my life, mourning the loss of my neurons.
Even though the books were pointless and absurd, at least they were fast reads. But Night Star was BORING. It actually took me longer to read than the other four books. After page 80, I was still waiting fo ...more
Personally, I think that if Ever had been sent to the shadowland two to three books ago and had her epiphany than the I'd like her and the series A LOT MORE! To me she ...more
Ever. I was expecting more about her from the first book, but the series has just made me totally dislike her as a character. First, in the other books she couldn't seem to do anything her self, even with her new found powers. Like, your immortal, learn to de ...more
