Engaging storyline

A little hard to get into at first but then out of nowhere you are hooked. It was hard to stop reading. Nicely written to engage all your senses and make you feel as though you are there. Memorable characters who you grow to love and others not so much. A great read ready for the next book!

Started very slow, as several people have said. It did pick up some but I still think it was a bit confusing. The dragons talking in rhyme was an interesting concept, but grew tiresome, the way sentences had to be worked and twisted to create the rhyme.

I would probably read the next one, as it did get better over the course of the book.

Second in the White Dragon series, it was good. Interesting characters, well planned story line; a little humor, romance and intrigue, makes for a lighter epic series not heavy-handed. Several small spelling and grammatical errors sometimes made for unclear reading and I had to reread sentences to clarify. Would be great for child with strong reading skills.

An ok book

A very slow start.
A lot of different characters and races that it was hard to keep track of sometimes.

Reasons why I think this book is okay-

Reason 1- The beginning is kind of slow. I kept re-reading, but it still was boring. The middle is where the true excitement begins.

Reason 2- One of the characters was in the beginning and part of the middle and disappeared and that charecter was one of the good characters.

Reason 3- There are dragons.

Very slow moving, good plot line, but hard to care about characters. I read a review where they said it reads like a textbook, and that is pretty accurate.

A good story, but slow to get into and many characters.

Was ok though it reads more like a text book than a story.
