Second in the White Dragon series, it was good. Interesting characters, well planned story line; a little humor, romance and intrigue, makes for a lighter epic series not heavy-handed. Several small spelling and grammatical errors sometimes made for unclear reading and I had to reread sentences to clarify. Would be great for child with strong reading skills.

Reasons why I think this book is okay-

Reason 1- The beginning is kind of slow. I kept re-reading, but it still was boring. The middle is where the true excitement begins.

Reason 2- One of the characters was in the beginning and part of the middle and disappeared and that charecter was one of the good characters.

Reason 3- There are dragons.

Very slow moving, good plot line, but hard to care about characters. I read a review where they said it reads like a textbook, and that is pretty accurate.

A good story, but slow to get into and many characters.

Was ok though it reads more like a text book than a story.
