This was a very enjoyable story for my son who loves reading and learning about nature. The story was good, and the illustrations were amazing. If you are looking for a good picture book for a nature loving child, be sure to pick this one up.
This book has rhyme which children need to learn about. Rhyming helps children predict what the next word might me. It also talks about a loon and how it fly south for the winter. Students can learn about other birds that fly south for the winter.
