This is s great book. Kennedy is a determine woman to get out of a jam by herself. But Maxwell is determined to protect her. Then at the end love wins all.

Boring and predictable. For me, the book had no depth

Interesting storyline. A woman accidentally witnesses a murder and is determined not to say anything to protect her family. The police assigned to the case realize there was a witness and now need to find the witness to try and find the murderer. The case gets more interesting as the identity of the dead person is a popular district attorney. The romance and who done it are intertwined and who actually wanted the attorney dead and why is a good read.

A very interesting read full of mystery, drama, and suspense when revenge to kill witness, Kennedy St. James is a priority on one ganglord's list while detective Maxwell Collier tries to save her and remaining relatives' lives. Trust is a key factor that Kennedy must learn for her life to be saved and for love to blossom between her and the detective Collier.
