Excellent story and incredible world building. I was a little squicked by the fact that Jessan is only 15 in the story, yet becomes sexually active with older men. However, it is established in the story that boys are considered adults at the age of 16 so I took that into consideration. The world itself has a bit of a Lord of the Rings feel to it, with magic and demons and monsters all around. well there were too many things which went on that really were not that important. When your running for your life,discovering your not who you thought you were, just realized you maybe one of the most powerful people in the world, a castle just builds its self for you! just got married to a stranger your sooooo soooo in love with (even though it's a three way marriage) all that being said and you still have time to worry about sex in closets while shopping? Not too bad. The ending was a bit rushed, but other than that, a relatively decent read. I feel like a lot of parts were rushed, actually - not so much rushed, but more like could easily be expanded into a much longer book.
