4 ½ stars – Romantic Suspense/Erotic Romance/Ménage
This final installment of the sexy, thrilling Wild Riders, about former thieves, law breakers, and bad-boy bikers turned undercover government agents, is a hot, action-packed conclusion to a series that’s been steamy loads of fun.

I love my biker series, it unleashes my inner biker chick, but this one fell short. (It might even be a 2 star read, but I loved the first books of the series and might have been feeling their effect) Riding on Instinct still my favorite of series. This one is still hot, and AJ and Pax were definitely sexy bikers, but I just don't get into the three being together in the end. I don't mind menage, I love erotica, but I like one man, possessive, alpha dominance in the end. My mind just doesn't

Fifth in the Wild Riders erotic romance-suspense series revolving around the bike-ridin' men who belong to a secret government organization.

My Take

It's a sweet story but never really rises to the tension levels that could make this a great little story nor does it account for how easily Teresa accepts sex with two guys. Wouldn't it be great if we could simply write world peace as easily as so many authors write their characters' actions?

Ok/good for romantic suspense with motorcycle gangs. Lots of sex, two men loving and sharing one woman.
STORY BRIEF:
In a small town not far from St. Louis are two motorcycle gangs. The Thorns rule the south side. The Fists rule the north side. Fists sell drugs. Thorns don’t do anything illegal that I could tell. The Fists want to take over the south side so they can have access to the river for their drug business. Joey is the leader of the Thorns. His sister Theresa own More...

Riding the Night by Jaci Burton
Contemporary Romance - Sept. 7th, 2010
4 stars
Jaci Burton continues her Wild Rider series in this 4th full length installment. Sexy and filled with suspense fans of her books will not be disappointed.
In this story, the author amps up the heat in a plot that includes a beautiful and traumatized heroine named Teresa and 2 hunky enforcement agents who find her irresistible and love to ‘share.’ (Warning: ménage!)

Christy’s Review
Where to begin? I loved this book. As with all the books in the Wild Riders series it was a very good read.
Teresa and AJ grew up together and were childhood sweethearts. On her 18th birthday, AJ leaves town because he's on the road to being a criminal and doesn't want to mess up Teresa's life.
Fast forward several years, AJ and Pax are undercover operatives for a government agency call the Wild Riders. All members ride Harleys and are bad boys on th More...

This was the first book in the Wild Riders series I've read so far. I have book three on my too read shelf in my writing room. My friend praised this series, but I never found the desire to pick it up. Then one day I opened this book and wow! The chemistry between Teresa, Pax, and AJ was hot. I must say that I would have liked to have more emotional depth in the Pax and AJ characters, but the way Ms. Burton touched on their past gave them enough credibility. I liked the premise of the book. I co

Highly disappointing end to the otherwise enjoyable Wild Riders series. This one didn’t work for me at all.
AJ and Teresa were childhood sweethearts, until AJ went all noble on her eighteenth birthday and left her - ‘for her own good’, of course. Neither ever forgot the other.
Cut to ten years later, and their paths cross and feeling reignite. Only this time, AJ’s best friend Pax is in the picture. AJ and Pax do everything together, and the fact that AJ is still in love wit More...

Another must-read from Jaci Burton. HOT!
Here's my review from TwoLips Reviews (www.TwoLipsReviews.com):
Fans of this series have been anxiously awaiting this installment, and while it’s bittersweet because it’s the last book in the series, it’s a reunion story so it’s extra delicious.
Ten years ago AJ was dating Teresa but he broke it off because he knew his life was off track and he loved her too much to drag her down with him. He was a troubled kid with a rotten More...

Can I just say WOW!
This is my first book in the WIld Riders Series and I was not disappointed.
AJ & Pax are undercover government agents who decide to take a vacation back to where AJ grew up. They run into Teresa, who happenes to be AJ's High School sweetheart. A fight breaks out in Teresa's bar between two bike groups leaving her brother wrongly accused of murder.

Two Wild Riders return to AJ's hometown after a 10 year absence and the first person they see behind her bar is the love of his life, Teresa. Now a stunning, mature woman, she has moved on from that hurtful time, but she hides another deep wound that has changed her life. AJ and his buddy Pax are now best friends, soul brothers who have shared their mutual abusive history and their deep disappointment with their parents. They now share everything, including their women. A love story, a myste

Another good book, but not my favorite in the series. I liked AJ and Pax in the brief glimpses of them from previous books and I did still like them in this, but the emotional build up for the romance was a little flat for me. We got more with Pax and Teresa and at times I had a slight wonder if Burton was going to take a different road than was implied and have Teresa and Pax end up together on their own. Everything with AJ and Teresa was about their feelings in the past which was ten years

Believed to be the last entry in Jaci Burton's extremely popular and inspired Wild Riders series, this story featuring a permanent menage with government agents Pax and A.J. and their heroine Teresa makes me glad that this isn't going to be the final story after all.
Don't get me wrong - Burton is such a talented writer. She really has an extraordinary gift for chemistry, connection, and heat between her characters and can spin a fantastic tale full of exciting ups and downs. I have re More...

Favorite Quote: “Take it easy, Teresa. It was just an orgasm, not world peace.”
When AJ and Pax decide to stop by AJ’s hometown while on vacation, AJ never expects to run into his old high school flame,Teresa. Teresa was heartbroken when AJ left her but got on with her life and now owns a large profitable biker bar. But the feeling are still there between them, simmering hot just barely beneath the surface. While catching up at the bar, a fight breaks out between rival gangs leaving one More...

Overall, I’ve enjoyed Jaci’s Wild Rider series. I’ve read all of them, including the novella she wrote for Nauti and Wild that came out in August. I would like to say that I read this final book in the series because of the fact that I’d read all the others. It’s kind of like going to see the sequel, or the trilogy, in a movie because you’ve seen the rest and you want to see how it ends. I would also like to point out that, while I love to read erotica, I don’t like read about bondage, BDSM or m

I enjoyed this book but I felt that it ran out of steam here and there. Not many people can write really good 3-way relationships and while Jaci Burton did a good job setting it up, I think she focused way more attention on Pax than AJ. AJ and Teresa were the high school sweethearts and were so deeply in love when they were younger. I really thought that sparks were going to fly when the two finally reunited but I was kind of disappointed that Burton spent more time with Teresa and Pax and bette

I couldn't put this book down! I found the Wild Riders series by reading Nauti and Wild and I've loved every single book in this series! I've been looking forward to reading AJ & Pax's story, and knowing this was going to end up being, hopefully, a HEA for a 3some.
The book starts off giving us a glimpse of AJ's past, when he was 19 and in love with Teresa, but leaves her because of his criminal activities.

AJ and Pax are undercover agents for government agency called the Wild Riders. While on their way on vacation they go through AJ’s hometown and run into AJ’s high school sweetheart. A woman he skipped out on because he knew his life wasn’t going in the right direction and he wanted better for her. Now years later, his life is on track and he and his partner are passing through town when he learns that the chemistry he’s felt with Theresa still exists. However, not only does he feel it, so does h

The suspense/action plot of Riding The Night is somewhat different from the other "Wild Riders" stories because AJ and Pax are on a road trip vacation riding their Harley's. AJ wants to return to the town where he grew up to see if any old acquaintances still live there, in particular his childhood sweetheart, Teresa. Readers learn from the book's Prologue that AJ had left town 10 years earlier, leaving a 18 year old Teresa brokenhearted. He did this with the best of intentions because

I'm a bit sad that this is the last book in Burton's "Wild Riders" series. I've really enjoyed it, this book included...it's got a little bit of everything: romance, hot sex, mystery, suspense, and some action. It's a nice combination.
Series:
Fifth book in Burton's "Wild Riders" series. I think you could read it as a standalone, but it's worth reading the all the books and in order.

This book was such a fun read, but I have a feeling that what made it fun for me was not what the author had in mind, and that was the girl card that Teresa played, more about that later.
AJ and Pax are part of the unique set of federal agents who call themselves "Wild Riders". These guys look more like thugs and a motorcycle gang than the law enforcement agents they are. The 2 guys are best friends, who share everything, and by everything I do mean the women the encounter. More...

This was a good ending to a pretty hot series about former bad-boy bikers who work as undercover operatives for a secret government agency known as the Wild Riders. All of the Wild Riders had all previously been in trouble with the law at one time or another and were going nowhere fast (jail) until General Grange Lee (who runs the agency)turned their lives around by hand picking them to work on the right side of the law.

This is book 5 in the Wild Riders series and it features Pak and AJ. Both men have had traumatic childhoods and when they joined Wild Riders they found friendship with eachother. They also discovered that they liked having sex with the same women at the same time. So they both knew they would never have a traditional relationship with a woman. Teresa is a woman from AJ's past and she is having her own troubles with men at the moment. Her twin brother is a part of a biker club that is fighting wi

I think the previous reviewers did a fantastic job of summarizing the story here. This was a bittersweet book for me. I loved this series and I was sad to know this was the end. AJ and Pax's story is one we've all been curious about. We read about menage love stories all the time, right? But how was this duo of 'tough dudes' going to find true and long lasting love? Teresa was the perfect female for them. Tough, independent, a real survivor. Someone who was soft enough to tame them and t

The writing was good, but I don't go for stories with 2 guys and a girl. I like strictly one on one action. So I was bummed when I got partway thru the story and realized that I was heading into threesome territory. It's just not my thing. And the real bummer is that I bought the book on my kindle, so I can't even trade it in to the used bookstore! Oh well.

This is what is known as a menage story- two guys and a girl in this case. And it works so very well because for this type of relationship to work there has to be complete honesty and no territorial jealousy. I was amazed at how well they all fit together and how good it was to read that. It is an unusual type of relationship by many standards but in my opinion, if everyone is happy then more power to them.
Feb 09, 2012
This threesome didn't work for me. In most threesomes they start together, never adding after a major love affair. Even though AJ wasn't jealous of Pax, I was for him. I didn't even like Pax at the end and felt that AJ didn't deserve the girl either. It just didn't work for me, but I did love the series.

Motorcycle + alpha hero = wild ride. Motorcycles + 2 alpha heroes + 1 strong heroine = explosive ride. Jaci Burton’s final entry in her ‘Wild Rider’ series is typical Burton; and by that I mean get ready for romance, exciting characters, intrigue, adventure, emotional revelations and passion.
