Weird thing. I wanted to know japanese puppet (bunraku) play Asagao nikki from 1838 (about it wrote Tanizaki). I found in my library this book and I read it.
This is Czech long poem, freely inspirated by this play and played in Czech puppet theater. But I fear that this story is very different from its original. Miloš Vodička knew only beginning of this play plus short vague synopsis of play and he made his own story from it. Love drama with happy ending in free verses. Strongly emotional. (Too m
