Started this last night and was wading through the sub-Da Vinci code plot-exposition-through-dialogue cut with some cod South American crystal therapy when it all seemed familiar...inside the front cover was a library loan chit from 15 Dec 2011, and I could just about make out my name.

Yes, the premise of this book [Templar knight gets reincarnated to protect woman on a quest] is so good I've borrowed it twice, but the execution is so indescribably poor that not only have I given up twice after 1
I gave it a 2 star because I like the plot. Unfortunately, that was only the first half of the book. After that I tried skimming it, but even that was difficult, so I just skimmed that last two chapters.
I really loved this book and its overall appeal to love each each other, that love is the strongest force and it will win over all. I enjoyed reading it and am so glad I did read it.
I enjoyed the premise of the book. I wished there had been a little more action with all the dialog. This is in the bottom half of the books I've read by McKenna.

Last time I read her I said never again. I broke my own rule. Wished I hadn't. Remembered that I used to really like her.
Just wasn't that into this book. Better than some of the other books in the series, but not that great a read.

I've lived six lives in one and it all shows up in the books I write, one way or another.

I was always a risk taker and broke mustangs at thirteen years old in Oregon. I learn to break them with love, not threat or pain.

At 17 years old, I picked night-crawlers (worms) out in our Oregon orchards from 9pm to midnight, every night. I earned enough money to buy my school clothes and book. I also plunk
