a collection of stories written in the early 70's speaking of love, labor and loss. moving pieces of love in the romatic, love in the paturnal, and the hatered that man can possess when things dont come to frutition

I fell in love with this as a kid, to my mind the best stories are -The Men of Greywater Station- This Tower of Ashes -, and the almost cloyingly romantic, - The Lonely songs of Laren Dorr.
Love them all, though.

George R. R. Martin was born September 20, 1948, in Bayonne, New Jersey. His father was Raymond Collins Martin, a longshoreman, and his mother was Margaret Brady Martin. He has two sisters, Darleen Martin Lapinski and Janet Martin Patten.
