McGirt intended this story to be completely tongue-in-cheek sarcasm dripping goodness. Palin hunts Twilight-esque vampires in order to protect the American public in their natural habitat...Walmart. I have to give this three stars, for a few laugh-out-loud moments. I feel like the book was about as good as any "Twilight spoof featuring Sarah Palin as vampire hunter" could be. If it had been a full-size novel, I never would have made it all the way through, but as a novella, it worked. (I actually read this under the title "Twinkle", and didn't really know what I was getting. This title and cover pretty much say it all.)

What you would expect from a short story with this kind of title.

This was so stupid I had to read it. The author captured the dialog of Sarah Palin really well. However, this is a toss away. Story was weak, characters all one dimensional, and dialog was stilted. On par with the movie Vampires Suck.
