The beginning of the book describes how the morals and ideas of communism started.One of the philosophers who started communism was Karl Max. His ethnic background was German. Other than the layout, which was terrible (due to slit up information and no well-defined places to pause in the reading), this was a fantastically informative look into Communism; both idealistically and realistically. I am most definitely going to be reading the other books the Forms of Government series with my daughter and would recommend it to any junior high or high school classrooms and libraries.
