I wrote THERE IN THE MOON MIST, and this story touched me in so many ways as I was working on it. It is the story of 20-year-old Lacy Grayson, a young woman struggling to free herself from a cult she is forced into. I had to spend a lot of hours studying cult indoctrination and the psychological horrors these people face daily. And although this is fiction, it sheds light on human suffering and the things some are willing to do for acceptance and love. I hope you enjoy my story.

I typically go for character-driven novels, and There in the Moon Mist did not disappoint. The protagonist, Lacy Grayson, pulled my heartstrings from the start. A number of times I found myself urging her to flee her circumstances as though she were my kid sister. Lucas, the boy to whom she was betrothed, is a character I tried hard to dislike.
