As a brief history of, well, history, it serves its purpose. Not necessarily a fun read, but there are interesting facts about how historians have done their jobs over the years and the different ways that history can be written about the same events.
I felt this book was pretty redundant. Lesson learned: history today is not the same as history a 100 years ago because people are not the same as they were 100 years ago.
