3.5 stars. A better than average book just because of the authors hilarious prose and the wonderful fire cracker of a heroine! I'm a sucker for a heroine in pursuit and this heroine delivers! The book would have gotten a higher rating if the author didn't get carried away with too much history, remedies, and secondary characters, but it was still a better than average read.

Ever since I learned to read, I have loved books.

I’ve written horrible poetry, better short stories, adequate commercials, educational and industrial film narration, and very forgettable screenplays. Once I learned how to make a story last longer than a few paragraphs I moved on to novels, and there I stayed. I've written forty-three to date.
