A sweet, romantic love story. Chris and Matt are a great combination and I enjoyed watching them make a life together. The story was structured like several short stories put together, maybe that's how it started out?

Chris was late for work and he hated being late. He had over slept a hour, which made him late for the dentist. After he left the dentist he had a flat tire, changing it left grease streaks on his clothes. He went back home to change and the traffic sucked.
Finally parking at the restaurant he checks his watch ,ten minutes late. Locking the car door and walking away he hears someone say "hey". He keeps walking trying to ignore it. The person calls out to him again "hey suit More...

This wasn't really one book, but more like a series of shorts. Each short had its own arc, and together they show the relationship of Chris and Matt, starting with how they first met and ending about three years later. It is, as the title suggestion, the evolution of love. It was very sweet.
Since this isn't one cohesive book, there is no real plot or conflict. It's more like real life; you get little windows into pieces of their life together. Some of the stories have real conflict i More...

Ally Blue's latest novel follows the relationship of Chris Tucker, executive chef, and Matt Gallagher, tattoo artist. This is the "evolution" of a relationship from first meeting to commitment. Unfortunately, that relationship has every cliché known to man. The men encounter every proverbial roadblock along the way, from simple arguments to jealousy and life-threatening-injury.
However, this is a romance. The sex scenes are plentiful and hot, especially when the guys start exp More...

This is a lovely romance by Ms Blue. The story centers on Chris, a chef, and Matt, a master tattoo artist. It starts out as your typical 'opposites attract story, and then turns into an interesting look at how the couple's relationship evolves. The characters are likable and interesting, with different things they each bring to the relationship. Without spoiling the end, I'll just say that the last few chapters seem unnecessary, as they just add a few more sex scenes without really telling you

Light reading.
From the blurb I was expecting this story to span twenty or thirty years, but it only covers about four. It is more a collection of short stories than a novel, which works to show how the relationship grows and 'evolves' over that time. The highs and lows are gentle and of the 'everyday' variety - no evil villains or high-speed chases here. The age gap between Chris and Matt isn’t apparent until the second half of the book, when Chris starts worrying about grey hairs, by whic More...

I liked it and everything it was sweet but it was also like urmm...where is the plot? nothing happened, aren't books suppose to have drama, bit of conflict bit of a dilema, this had none, yeh they had tiny little fights with never really went anywhere the type of fights a six year old would have.
So yeah just even the smallest of plots would have helped but the characters were good it just would have been better to have put them somewhere and given them a story.
So yeh if More...

I absolutely loved this book. It was a little weird that there were different sections and each had some minor conflicts between the main characters instead of one storyline that built to some major conflict, but I liked the style. It was different and kept me wondering what was going to happen next. I absolutely love that Matt could get Chris to do pretty much anything. I thought at the beginning that Chris might be a little uptight, but Matt was definitely good for him. I loved these two

Okay, so I know I'm biased in my reviews of Ally Blue's books mainly because I have yet to find a book of hers I haven't thoroughly enjoyed. So when I started reading Love's Evolution I went into it knowing I'd likely enjoy it.
Summary: Love is the journey of a lifetime. Chris Tucker is a cultured and sophisticated gentleman. Matt Gallagher is a pierced and tattooed wild child. Not exactly the pair you¿d expect to become a couple. But the sparks fly between them from the moment they mMore...

One star only - yes, it was that bad. It was all about sexsexsex and sugary sweet, cavities inducing emotions. Let me explain...
Character A: we have a problem.
Character B: no, we don't because I love you.
Character A: you are right, we don't have any problems, let's f**k.
Yes, that's exactly how the whole book went - three lines of plot, two pages of sex. Voyeurism, sex toys, threesomes, sex in public places, you name it, the book has got it. In abundance. It More...

Ok m/m romance about two guys who meet and feel a deep connection with each other. The book is a series of short stories about their relationship over the course of several years. I wasn't a fan of the book's structure, and I found one character's constant use of "my darling" and "my love" to be cloying and annoying.

Ehhhh. Ally Blue is pretty hit and miss for me. I do love some of her books, but this one just felt kind of flat and surface. The dialog isn't great and Chris's voice seems a bit stiff and awkward to me. There are some incredibly hot scenes, though, and I like the idea of the story, just not the execution.

I never really felt like I got to know the characters or why they fell in love--just that they did. I guess this was really more erotica about two guys in a relationship than a romance. For me, it was a real disappointment after The Happy Onion, which I really enjoyed.

I couldn't be bothered to finish with this book. After reading it half way through, I still didn't notice any plot. So I gave up.

Loved this book yet again! Again, not sure why this book is such a favorite of mine but it is. I love the connection between Matt and Chris from the start and that never fades, they are too very different people (tattoo artist vs. older head chef at fancy restaurant) yet they are always accepting of each other, neither tries to make the other conform to the others way of life. IMO the author does a great job of making you feel the love, connection and intensity between the two characters. Love t
