Any kid that likes mysteries will find the adventures of Doyle and Fossey, Science Detectives, delightful. Not only do they use scientific methods to sleuth out answers to problems faced by their fellow students, but the author has provided science experiments in the back of each book so that readers can also play detective.

For a 5/6 year old this is a wonderful, engaging read with parents. It's smart, age appropriate, right length stories, with a little bit of mystery and goo to keep them interested.
