A Century of Lingerie
This history of lingerie charts women's progressive emancipation, the effects of the two world wars, the benefit of man-made fabrics and the impact of the sexual revolution. The authors reveal fashion's foundations from the restraining corsets of the Edwardian era to the torpedo shaped bras of the 1950's to the sheer, supportive body shapers of the present day.

This book has been outdated by the internet. Images are not used very informative/illustrative, but seem to have been chosen rather arbitrarily. However, it does give an overview of brands and of different undergarments.
