Alma Loredo
This book is very nice. The book uses different animals to say they are either ill, in the hospital or feeling better. The neat thing about this book is that the word used to describe how the animal feels is a word that rhymes with the animals name.

This was a great rhyming book. It can be read to a rythmn so would even be good to read in a music class or if the kids were practicing rhyming words. The story is all about different animals too, so the pictures are very amusing!
Beautifully detailed illustrations of animals with ailments that cleverly rhyme with who they are: "a small red fox with chicken pox."
3-5 Words per page, simple rhymes. Solid Storytime choice for sick theme.
