An interesting book on two levels. First, it's a detailed behind the scenes look at how a particular (and peculiar) movie was made in 1950, from the first notion for The Next Voice You Hear all the way through to release. Dore Schary was a top producer for MGM, and later its head and so he's privy to everything that went on during the production.
