I tought that this book was going to be about Mr. Tony eating a lot of baloney, but to my suprise it was not that at all. Mr.Tony was AJ's and his friends ASKK which stand for After-School Kids Kare teacher. Mr. Tony was always doing weird things like pogo-juggling and egg-jogging to keep himself busy so that he could stop smoking and try to get into The Guiuness Book of World Records. This is the second book we've read in the My Weird School Daze series by Dan Gutman and Jim Paillot. They are very funny, quick reads and although they are told from a boy's perspective, I think they would appeal equally to boys and girls. We are reading the books completely out of order, but it doesn't seem to matter. The dialogue is fresh and the story is easy to read aloud. These are the kind of books that 2nd and 3rd graders devour. Lots of silly word plays and humor that adults might roll their eyes at but kids simply eat up. In this installment, AJ and his friends are enrolled in the afterschool program and Mr. Tony is the leader/teacher of the group. I thought it was funny! It was an AWESOME book, I loved it!
When AJ's mom just got a job.AJ has to go to After School KIds Kare teacher Mr.Tony.Who ruins the kare with his craziness.Mr.Tony is filled with baloneys.The after school kare is the school program.When AJ and his classmates gang up together to the child room.Like this book it teaches me a lot about self display.In Mr.Tony is full of baloneys
