Amazing book about the tolerance & acceptance so many of us have problems with.
Something Else is different so most of the community is scared of him. They shunt his away ‘cos he doesn’t belong.
How often the children don’t befriend other kids who look different than them. But how couldn’t they do it if we, grown-ups, show it to them and unwittingly teach them such behaviour.
We have to remember all the time that not everyone is the same, people ar different, ...more

"Something else" is always treated differently by the others. He feels he doesn't belong until one day he hears a knock on the door. Another "something" comes to visit and "something else" realizes that being different is not a bad thing. The two become friends and share everything with each other. The story conveys the message that it's okay to be different!

What a wonderful book. Beautifully drawn, as well as enchantingly written. Both my 3-year-old and 5-year-old loved it! (As did I.)
