Elissa's found her father after a long and arduous journey (Of course, it's never easy peasy. No one wants to read about an easy peasy journey.) and found out that she's the heiress to a kingdom! This should be the "happily ever after" part of the tale, but life doesn't quite work out that way. Determined to make things work out, Elissa stays, only to find out that she's being used as a pawn in her father, the king's court games.
I thought this book was mildly interesting. The More...

This series had so much potential and the author is a great writer it's just the plot never followed up. There were a lot of confusing things in the novel that I honestly think would be above the age that this book is meant for.
The follow through and conclusion to the relationships were just left out of there. Also I really felt the talking animals in this story were just thrown out there.
I really wanted to like this book as it's looked like a great series for girls to More...

Actually it isn't great at all. And when Fauk decides to marry Elissa to a bad man (I'm sorry; I forget his name) she finally runs away. She wants to boa More...

It's always refreshing to read a fantasy, young adult fiction book with a strong female character. The author also keeps the characters consistant and I enjoyed that. The first book is a bit confusing-as if some important information had been left out. Over all it ended up a good series that I enjoyed reading.

Great ending to this trilogy. I wanted to read these books because my name is Elissa and I've never read a book where the main character has my name. It was a great adventure!

Wow! Good book! I'm sad the series is over, but i think it all ended well. I wish Favian had showed Elissa how much he really cared for her though >.< but yeah. It was a little confusing, and I think its one of those book you have to read more than once to understand. Anyway, can't wait to read Erica Verrillo's next book. :)
