It has been a very long time since I've read a category romance, having long since grown tired of the formulaic situations and characters, but this well-written book makes me glad that I took a chance on a recommendation from a friend.

This wasn't an overly gratuitous tale about a younger man and an older woman, and while there was a little of that annoying hand wringing on the part of the lead character Veronica (does it make much sense to have her be asexual because of an attempted rape? Come o
Jerome Kumi Walker and Veronica Johnson-Hamlin's Story

This novel opens with a quote from Ecclesiastes about how there is a time for sorrow and a time for love, each determined by God, not man. Kumi and Veronica had each experienced sorrow and rejection, plus many self-fulfilling experiences in their careers and travels as well, but neither had experienced blissful, unconditional love, and they didn't think they ever would - they thought that kind of love was only for other people. I loved it!!! Nice short an to the point

Pretty good. Enjoyed older woman-younger man scenario. Not my favorite Rochelle Alers book by far.
This was one of many free downloads, which was an excellent well-written romance novel.
