Another fabulously-produced exhibit book from the Dali Universe in London. Dali was SO WEIRD. If you only know his melting watches, he's worth a bit more study. I had no idea he'd done biblical illustrations, sculpture, you name it.

Favorite quotes:

"At the age of three, I wanted to be a female cook. At seven, Napoleon. After that, my ambition just went on growing. I wanted to be Salvador Dali and nobody else." -p. 83

"I'm in a permanent state of intellectual erection." -p. 109
