Wow what a great story i have to tell everyone. About midway reading this book, I was thinking about giving it lowly 2 star review but instead decided to give it 5 stars. Here is what made me change my mind. Around the time I was thinking about giving it a 2-Star Review, the many sychronocities started to happen. I was unable to read this book. The opening introduction was defensive, self-justifying, name-dropping and pretentious. Regret buying it.

Before reading this book you should read Gary Schwartz's book "The Afterlife Experiments." That book is more at the personal level (trying to access if mediums are really getting messages from the departed) by performing straight monitored readings where there is no connection between the medium and the person being read. The "Sacred Promise" is Dr Schwartz's scientific journey on how he can prove the existence of the energies on the "other side." This makes this book harder to follow since it d ...more
