This book was surprisingly well written. I felt the author did a good job of developing the characters and integrating the plot.

My only real complaint that the hero's psychic abilities were a surprise not integrated into the story until after they had become an annoyance.

The realistic issues with the grandmother with dementia were something I could connect to.

I'll be looking for more books by this author.

The plot itself was ok, but there were just some parts of the book where I couldn’t follow what was going on. It wasn’t the story, it was that the author made some leaps in emotional logic that left me thinking “where did that come from?” and “what is he/she talking about?” Because the heroine is an empath, I guess the author thought she didn’t have to say what was happening exactly – just give vague impressions. T.M. Carper
A decent book, but the suspense part is over too quickly and tied up too neatly at the end with little effort on the hero and heroine's parts. Overall, much more believable than some of the other.
