It’s hard when you can’t stand the character who is telling the story. That was what happened here, with Steven, who was supposed to be the honest long-life friend of the famous actress Maya. But while the other characters – with few exceptions – refer to him like that, the reader can see by his actions how the truth is far from that: for starters, he acts secretive and manipulative, with bits of jealousy and possessiveness, justifying all his actions with “it’s for Maya’s own good. Face, à problemática envolvente deste Romance, que não termina nada bem. Aponta-nos, para uma visão, que na minha opinião, não deixa de ser realista e obsessiva.
