Excellent! A complete story in a sweet little package. Opposites attract when the rocker, Sky, meets the folk-singer, Teagan, but they are so perfect together. Fantastic funny dialogue, a sweet passionate romance, a delightful Irish family, and even a tiny bit of suspense, all in this charming novella. One more sister and four brothers to go, what a way to countdown the week! I'm waiting on Wednesday.

Just a side-note, the first book had more of a BDSM theme, whereas this one had one scene with

LOVED IT!!! Totally hooked on this series. Great characters, lots of steam and a sweet story. Perfect!

I loved how the author paired a rock star and a folk singer for this 2nd installment to the Wild Irish series. And I enjoyed it as much as the first, but for different reasons. The first book in the series has a BDSM tone with a very intense Alpha Hero. However, the hero in this book being a rock star who does not fit the typical mold intrigued me. He's not into drugs or alcohol, and realizes after spending time with Teagan that he wants a real relationship instead of bouncing from bed to bed. S ...more

I just have to say how much I love Teagan and her spirit, old roots, etc. I am a hippie at heart and a folk music fanatic, so instantly I connected with her. Now, that's not to say I think she was dumb at times.

To be honest, I have no idea why people can't say no and actually mean it. Then you have the guys pressuring, tricking their minds, pushing a little bit further closer to the boundary. It's not fair. She says no and you should respect that, not push her no into a yes.

Sky really
Well, that one worked for me! I really liked Teagan and Sky, their romance was both sweet and hot. I loved that they both respected each other and they didn't push each other into things the other didn't want. This was a quick read, but it didn't feel that way. It was nice that time elapsed and the relationship didn't develop literally over night.
Did not expect that - Usually in a series, the books all have a similar theme. Like, if the first one is BDSM then all of them will be. So, I was expecting some more of that after the first book. But nope, that didn't really happen.

This series is shaping up to be about each individual child in the Collins' family. And, refreshingly, they're not "all" big closet D/s 'ers. (Although, the sisters do seem to like their booties touched. Whatever, I ain't judging. LOLOL)

Book two takes the cliched rock
NOTE: I've read all 7 books in this series before writing this review, so I might make some comparisons every now and then. Even though I'll mention this in the reviews: the sex scenes are guaranteed flaming hot.

This is Teagan's story and she's the second eldest. She's the hippie, talented singer and songwriter, who catches the attention of Sky Mitchell from “The Universe” band. He's hiding from the paparazzi and hanging out at Pat's Irish Pub. It's amusing how she didn't know about him while he

Teagan Collins is the second daughter of the Collins family. She’s a Folk music singer/songwriter. Teagan is a little gypsy-esque and laid-back. But she’s also socially involved, compassionate and kind. She’s happy singing her songs for the customers of her family’s bar and restaurant and has no a

Barely 3 stars. A sweet story with erotic sex. This was ok but nothing special - too predictable.

Teagan plays guitar and sings folk songs in her family’s Irish pub. She likes writing music and performs one of her original songs. Sky is a rock star, traveling incognito, trying to avoid the paparazzi. He came to town for a few weeks for some quiet time to write music. He happens to be in the pub when Teagan performs. He likes her song and asks her to be a cowriter, working with him to

Teagan Collins is happy just writing and singing her folk songs in her family's bar. She teaches music to children and volunteers with the elderly. Sky Mitchell is the lead singer of popular rock group The Universe and has come to Baltimore and is hiding out in the Collins bar to take time to start writing his own songs and start a solo career. After Teagan loses a bet to Sky she agrees to help him write all his new songs for his solo album. Since the paparazzi have found him, Teagan's family su ...more
Sky Mitchell is a rock star. Teagan Collins is a singer in her family's pub, she writes some of her own songs, she volunteers with kids and seniors.
Sky is trying to leave his band and go on a solo career, problem is he can't seem to find peace or inspiration to write, until one night while he's siting incognito at a pub he hears Teagan sing her newly written song. He wants the song for his album instantly, problem is he wants the writer too. Teagan is content in her life, she has everything she
Mari Carr's Ruby Tuesday is the second in the Wild Irish series, each focusing on one of the Collins siblings. This is Teagan's story. She's a talented singer and songwriter, but has focused on helping the family, and enjoys occasionally performing at Pat's, her family's pub. One night, Sky Mitchell, the lead singer for the sensational band The Universe, on hiatus to clear his head, hears her set and is blown away.

He invites her to collaborate with him on the songs he's working on to launch a so

Ruby Tuesday is book two in Mari Carr's Wild Irish series, and as much as I enjoyed the first one, I liked this even better. Each book takes a member of the Collins family, and this one deals with Teagan. She works at her family's Irish pub and sings there, too - she's also content with her lot.

Everything changes, however, when the lead singer of world-famous rock band The Universe, Sky Mitchell, walks into the bar

When I finish a book with literally a smile on my face, it is a good sign. I really loved this sweet story. The famous rocker at the edge of kicking off his solo career + the folksy songwriter who simply plays in the family pub= MAGIC!

Fantastic scenes between these two with absolutely sizzling chemistry. Their debates and sniping at each other was just as hot as when they were kissing and so much more. Teagan is a 26 year old virgin and I
Tegan Collins is content with her life. She sings in her family’s Pub, she teachers music to kids and volunteers at the senior center. Sky Mitchell is a rock star hiding out in Maryland. He needs some time to himself as he contemplates the next step in his career, which is most likely a solo career. He hears one of Tegan’s songs and wants it to be his first solo recording. But Tegan won’t sell him the song because he wants to change. After a bit of squabbling the two start working together on Sk ...more

Recommends it for: Erotica, romance readers mainly.

This is mainly a sweet romance between second eldest of the Irish American Collins family, namely Teagan and rock star Skye, real name Mitch. I found it amazing that there'd be a 26 year old virgin holding out for love but there she was. My views on Teagan's determined wait for Mr Right to come along are very mixed between admiration but more sympathy for wasted years in the prime of her life...each to their own I suppose. I don't see this as a BDSM read really except one incidence which makes i ...more
Rudy is the second oldest and the free spirit of the family. She is the musician that is happy to sing in a pub and compose her own music and share within her small circle. He figures out she hasn't been with a man and she confesses she is waiting for love and not marriage. I really enjoyed this book.....Mari comes up with some great characters! A rock star and a flower child who knew? I love that he watched her sing in the bar and she had no idea who he was....and she treated him like everyone else! Hot scenes.........hello first time.
I'm so in love with Sky Mitchel that I didn't want this book to end. The relationship between him and Teagan is so hot that they are not even sleeping together to make it sizzling hot.
Sky Mitchel is the lead vocalist of the well known band 'The Universe'. He has hit a dry wall and is feeling burnout of the fame and paparazzi following him. He wants to start a solo career but has writers block for new songs for his solo album until he hears Teagan Collins singing a song in her family's pub. Teaga

I just loved reading about free spirited Teagan and Sky! They were just an amazing team in so many ways. I can't get enough of this series! Love Ms Carr!!
I am so hooked on this series. this was a great story, hot and steamy!!! great read. im reading thru this series as fast as lightening! ! love them!

Book 2 of the Wild Irish series with the Collins clan has Teagan Collins and Sky Mitchell connecting through a love of music. Sky is the lead singer of a rock band who's taking some time off and meets Teagan, songwriter/singer, at her family pub. I loved the chemistry between Teagan and Sky as they collaborate on the new music for Sky's solo project; and how they begin exploring each others bodies and their feelings.

What a cute romance! It moved a bit slow for me in the beginning. I'll confess that I picked this book because the setting is in my hometown. Ahhh...I was trying to imagine where the pub would be located...Fells Point or closer to JHU.

Teagan & Sky(Mitch) was a cute couple. She sounds pretty sexy with the red hair and freckles. Lot's of virgin-safe sex play. Not really as much bdsm or as erotic as I would have liked. Still a good read. Headed off to read about snarky Riley.

First off I read this awhile ago I just forgot to review it.

So here it goes. I vaguely remember this book because hey that was like 50 books ago but what I do remember is:

It was good. I loved the challenge and the whole reason for bringing them together. They ended up being a cute couple. If I remember right trouble does come up during their songwriting vacation when the cabin was broken into and stuff.

Hmm now thinking about it makes me want to re-read it.

Writing a book was number one on Mari Carr’s bucket list and on her thirty-fourth birthday, she set out to see that goal achieved. Five years later, her computer is jammed full of stories — novels, novellas, short stories and dead-ends and six of her books have been published.

High school librarian by day and mother of two busy teenagers, Mari Carr found time for writing by squeezing it into the ho
