Something is going on in the series that is hidden between the lines and which I can't work out. The ending brought tears to my eyes and made me scream at it because it just did not seem right at all. After all could she really throw away something that good when it was going so apparently well? Quick Overview: Cate Tiernan has another great installment in the sweep series. Though, the book needs to be a lot longer and fuller.
The Calling is another great installment in the sweep series. I still think these books are too short though, and it is starting to get to me. I know this isn't the first book, but I actually found it was an exciting and thrilling book. I liked how Morgan goes to New York to find out about herself and her mom. Eventually she ended up finding out more than she actually thought she would. She learned that she was adopted and is a blood witch. Her father is one of the most horrible witches. sembra che questo volume segni una svolta, un punto da cui ripartire per introdurre nuovi misteri nuove evoluzioni.
La pecca è che si capisce come stanno le cose fin dalle prime pagine, fin dai primi incontri di Morgan con questi nuovi personaggi... insomma noi lettori già sappiamo tutto e lei invece non capisce nulla!
ma vabbè, le perdoniamo l'ingenuità e l'esagerata decisione finale, già intuendo che si ravvedrà!

This was my least favorite of the series. The plot was predictable from page 1. The ending was silly---the logic behind the break up was trite, even for a 17yo girl.

I liked this book because the characters were very easy to relate to. They were normal teenagers, even though they went through totally not normal things. I also liked it because the relationships between characters were very warm and loving. That is why i liked this book.

This is a fun, fast pased series. I actually learned some about Wicca as a religion (taken loosely of course) instead of just the hocus pocus stuff that is usually what most of the books and movies tell about. The characters were fun and captivating. I was left wanting more and more.
