Book twelve switches perspective from Morgan to Alisa.

Ciaran is still on the loose, knows of the watch sigil Morgan inscribed on him, and has given Morgan an ultimatum—either she joins him or parish with her friends when he releases the dark wave. Then when it switches to Alisa, Alisa is struggling with the whole issue of her finding out she’s a half blood witch, and may also be the key in preventing the dark wave from happening.

I really did enjoyed this book, It felt like it More...

Finally, the culmination of several story lines come into fruition. After so long in the series, I have to admit that part of me was getting impatient for this moment, when we'd finally see Morgan do battle against her blood father.

This entry in the series is narrated in two different voices- Morgan & Alisa. Morgan's blood father Ciaran is still on the loose & worse- he's managed to get rid of the watch sigil that Morgan inscribed on him. He's given Morgan an ultimatum- join him or p More...

The first 2-3 books in this series are addictive, a fresh "modern-teen" POV in the tired genre of witches/kids with supernatural powers finding themselves (and the wonder of Wicca) among families/communities who "don't get it".

After #3, it goes downhill. There is no psychological development of the main characters (and the secondary characters are quite shallowly described and hard to distinguish throughout the series; even the more promising and believable ones, B More...

Today's review is on Eclipse, Cate Tiernan's 12th book in the Sweep series and was a welcome reappearance of Morgan, Hunter, and their friend Alisa.

There is a dark wave heading towards Morgan and everyone she loves and all signs point to Ciaran as the witch that cast the spell. After all, he knows that Morgan put a watch sigil on him, and he wants to talk to her. Now every where she goes she's looking over her shoulder.

The approaching dark wave is causing the blood wit More...

A couple of interesting things happen in this installment of Wicca. Ex-Kithic member Alisa surprisingly plays a large roll after a life-changing discovery. You remember, she is the one who left because she was terrified of Morgan and the magic she wields. And Morgan's biological father, Cairan MacEwan reappears and brings the Dark Wave after Morgan and Kithic when she refuses his offer.

I just realized that up to this book (#12), all the events have happened in a very short period of More...

In this book, Alisa is coming to terms with the fact that her mother was a witch and that she is 1/2 witch. She has powers and has no idea how to control them. She turns to Morgan for help but Morgan is busy. A dark wave is coming and they have to create a spell to stop it. Is there any way the untrained Alisa can help?

As I say every time, I just love this series. Despite all the chaos around them these kids have time to worry about being home on time and dealing with future stepmoth More...

This installment is told from both Morgan's perspective and Alisa's perspective. Alisa is the youngest member of the Kithic Coven and is not sure if she still wants to be part of the coven. She discovers something about her late mom that changes her outlook. At the same time Morgan and Hunter are still battling Ciaran and trying to find a way to stop a Dark Wave.

Eclipse moved along better than the previous two books. A major event happens close to the end of the book and I am curiou More...

Morgan and Hunter are in trouble again as Ciaran has decided to send a dark wave to Widow's Vale to destroy Morgan, her family, and her coven Kithic. Hunter's father begins to work, through Rose's Book of Shadows, to create a spell that will combat the dark wave before it destroys them.

This book pivots between Morgan's point of view and Alisa's point of view. It was interesting the way it was done and I liked it. Alisa inadvertently finds out that her mother was a witch and throug More...

On the verge of an in-coming dark wave, Alisa has realised that she might be the only one to stop it. Being a half witch and half human. Will Widows Vale survive?

It was amazing! And my guesses were right! It was Alisa that did those telekinetic stuff! I would have never guessed that she was a half witch though...

Alisa's voice was difficult to distinguish from Morgan's at times. Good thing chapters began w/the names of the girls. ;-) I will say I almost, almost started welling up with tears at the end when Alisa sees her mom in the vision.

I really enjoyed this book. It has a great storyline to it & I didn't really mind the story jumping from Alisa to Morgan all that much. Parts of the book were more interesting to me than others, especially some revelations concerning Morgan & what her role might be for Woodbaynes everywhere on earth. Moving on to Reckoning now, I would suggest the series it has a hold on me….

very good. we see both Alisa, who discovers that she is a half-witch and Morgan embracing their powers to fight morgan's father. It's cool that Alisa and Morgan are finally getting along. and Alis's famil problem...well, they aren't the worst in the world.

I think the whole series is really good but as an individual book, it's exciting but the author is kind of lost sometimes.

Good story, It is about time that Alisa Soto has found out about her powers. The two books in between had me confused if her story would continue. Need more. I liked it.

This book, it is so indepth for more than one character. There is Morgan, Alisa, Rose MacEwin, Hunter, Mr. Nail, everything. Cate Terinan has such an amazing mind to come up witha story line that she can spread over 15 books! The Book is worth the time it takes to read it.
