We see the return of Sora, Donald, and Goofy as they wake up from their year long sleep and continue to search for Mickey Mouse and Riku. Maleficent returns, now with Disney's Peg Leg Pete ( Who somewhat does not have his peg leg from his cartoons and movie appearances) as a new assistant to take over the world. Sora meets Mickey's master, Yensid ( which is Disney backwards, because of how Walt saw the wizard Yensid as his alter ego) who tells Sora that even though he defeated Ansem and the Hear...more

I'm still rather new to manga and trying to read from as many different series as I can. I chose KINGDOM HEARTS II, because it seems to be a popular one with boys. I couldn't find volume 1, so I started with volume 2. Unlike some other series, there wasn't a short summary of what has happened so far, so I had to jump right in the action. Yes, I was a bit confused, but was able to figure some of it out, but really have more questions than answers. There's lots of action with suspense building tow...more
I absolutely love the video game for this book and absolutely love the artwork for the manga series, it's drawn stupendously and I love how the plot of the manga doesn't stray from the original story but the author adds their own interpretation to make it a funnier situation, I love that especially because the original video game is just a little to serious, so adding a hint of hilarity just makes it a more enjoyable thing to read, overall i would recommend this book to anyone that likes kingdom...more

i have this book and it was cool
This book goes along the story line of an old video game I used to play. About Sora (main Character) along with dysney character Donald and Goofy to stop the evil from taking over the world. This book is where Roxas (Sora in an alternate universe) hangs out with his friends until the leaders of a different evil organisation try to capture him. Then Sora awakes from a sleeping chamber and starts his adventure to save the world.

This comic taught me to never give up.

Only two more days of summer left and both Roxas and his friends of spending time with each other comes to an end. But with all the things that has been going on over the past few days, Roxas continue to think of what the girl, Namine, meant about him never to exist. So many things are still unsolved as Roxas come to the whole reason he wasn't suppose to exist.

This manga begins as Roxas begins to realize the truth about himself. He sees another boy constantly but has no idea who he is. Little by little Roxas begins to lose a part of himself as Sora is getting ready to awaken. Roxas is also reunited with his old friend Axel although he doesn't recognize him. By the end of the manga, Sora's journey has begun.

Great story, and cute art. It is good all around, until you realize they haven't made another volume and your left in the corner with only the video game to keep you company, but the manga has better jokes than the video game(which are mostly ones that make no sense).

I wish there was more of this.
Dialogue was great. Nice art to go along. It cuts short though, right when it was about to get good. I like how they defined what a nobody and a heartless is. I understand that it is not finished, but they could've extended this a little bit more.

The continuation of Sora's journey is truly captivating. Roxas' story has ended, and now Sora is awake from his year long slumber and regaining his memory. They meet up in Hollow Bastion to update on the events of the worlds everywhere.
This book is just like the game, but it adds more funnier details then the game. Just like the part in this book were they put sora in a dress! So funny! Wished they added it to the game!

This book was sad because one of the main protagoonists, Riku, just disappered from the story. It is hard to explain and I don't want to give it away...
i assumeplaying the game would explain whats going on in this book. mickey and donald don't show up until halfway and by then i didn't care.
I just luuuvuv this series... WHEN IS VOLUME 3 COMING OUT!??? WHYYYYY WHYY???!!!

Ahhh, so sad when Roxas...went to Sora. He's my favorite character of the series. I was really sad when he died. I mean, I cried....
Good but I really wish they'd put in more disney characters.

I don't really like original characters in this story.
