They'd always been there for each other, until a moment of comfort turned into something neither of them were prepared for.

Five years later tragedy has brought Jenny Gardner back home to Parsons' Pass and the man she walked away from.

What I loved: Black Woman/ Native American Male pairing. What I also loved, the character development. The connection between Jenny and Ty was believable. They were good together and the story line flowed well for a short read. Actually, the premise was great.

A novella that tells the story of friends who become more than friends and who are separated by tragedy and brought back together by tragedy. Yet there is so much negative history. The question is: is there enough positive connection between them to make a future together possible? Sometimes the person you belong with is right in front of you the whole time and sometimes, you have to make mistakes to realize it. Jenny and Ty have known each other practically their whole lives but they both have made choices to ignore how they feel about each other until a time comes when they can't ignore it any longer.
The Book Junkie Reads . . .
Jenny and Ty went round this thing for way too long and when tragedy strikes seems to be their trigger to get together. This is one of those stories that you could read again just for the awwwwwwwwwwww factory that is missing in the real world of love. Tragedy has a way of letting us know what we can and will lose if we shy away from it for too long.
