Recommends it for: Anyone going to Moldova
This tour book by Lonely Planet is really the only book out there with any information on Moldova. I am so grateful that it exists at all because the history and information about the region was very helpful.

I am normally a DK Eyewitness Guide follower, but they had nothing on Moldova at all. The Lonely Planet books are more for the backpacking through Europe and staying in hostels type of traveler. Since I was in Chisinau on business, most of the information on hiking and sightseeing really did
