I gave Ms. Barrett a little bit of a hard time on my review of her first book, Anytime Darlin’. There were things about that book that I liked but more things that I didn’t. But Ms. Barrett was very gracious, took her average grade from me, finished up her next book, and came back to us for another review. I’m glad she did.

I received this book as a review copy from the author and after reading the blurb I was like "Okay we will see.". And I have to say this blurb doesn't do the book any justice.
The book is fast paced and written in such a lovely way, I just couldn't put it down. I really loved this book. There is enough suspense and romance to satisfy an army or readers! Well drawn characters. Hot love scenes. And a PLOT! YAY!

This was my only non-holiday reading for the week. Once again I am blown away by Julia's talent. I am not usually a big lover of romantic suspense, but this book was so good I inhaled it.
