Popular conservative blogger Pamela Geller and New York Times bestselling author Robert Spencer sound a wake-up call for Americans to stop the Obama administration from limiting our hard-won freedoms, silencing our democratic voices, and irreparably harming America for generations to come.

America is being tested in a way that she has never been tested before. Since taking...more

Pamela Geller explores the principles and policies by which Barack Obama governs our country and what it means to America in the years to come. She points out his blatant pandering to Muslim heads of state and Muslim ideology...even to the point of negotiating with Muslim terrorist organizations. This is, by the way, happening as I write. A news article in today's headlines reveals the initiation of "talks" with Afghanistan's Taliban leaders. From "Cozying up to Hamas" to "Campaign money from Ga...more

Geller is widely known as the founder/author of the AtlasShrugs.com blog site, and much of the material has shown up on her blog at various points. This book is a devastating critique of Obama, his early influences and education, his hypocritical and disingenuous statements towards Israel, while pandering to all things/people Muslim, his drive to reduce America from the "shining city on a hill" (Reagan's words) to just another fumbling unexceptional nation which has made a lot of mistakes and wh...more

I'm a big political lefty. You know, the kind of person who supports the Green Party and likes the idea of democratic socialism. Still, I like to know what the other half thinks. So, I practice something called "Reading with the Enemy", the periodic reading of books that anger or frighten the hell out of me. Pamela Geller's The Post-American Presidency accomplishes both simultaneously. This book is nothing but a blatant hit piece on President Obama and Muslims.

Interestingly enough, Geller and he...more

I like all of the co-authors... but to be honest the book just wasn't what I expected. Maybe it's that I've already heard it... Maybe it's that it seemed like they were talking down to the audience (which I recognize is usually necessary for Joe Public but not for me)... I'm not sure but 2.5 stars was what I would have preferred to give it.

The author presents a detailed account of President Obama's relationship with those countries/individuals/groups who care little about our national interest. My one problem with the book is the jabs taken at the president at the expense of research, as in quoting a Rush Limbaugh caller.

America "A sucker is born every minute or aborted":

I think we are watching an amazing country be destroyed and this book chronicles the beginning of the end. I hope we can "Change" the path of destruction we are on.

This is the best factual assessment of Obama yet written. It must be viewed as a cll to action by all thinking Americans.
Kathy
Not objective. Informative, but over-dramatic instead of objective and factual. Nothing new here, but sobering.

Currently reading this, and it is a MUST, MUST, MUST read for every American - even for everyone in the world, as everyone is influenced by America. See who influenced Obama growing up - who he surrounded himself with - who he is appointing now. He very definitely is the first post-American president.
Dick
Interesting read. Simply put - it is an indictment of our current president, how he got there, the campaign, the people behind him and where he is driving this country. If you disagree with the president and want a book that will let you say "I told yo so", this is a book for you.

Other countries hate America because we are a great nation. Our president should not trade new friendship for our nation's distinction. I think American Exceptionalism is a necessary trait in every citizen and public servant, especially the president.
