I loved this book and have to admit to reading it twice and am already thinking about going back for more! Freia Lockhart is a character I felt I could really relate to. She was a very realistic character who goes through typical teenage drama. Her narration was fantastic and the romance was super sweet (and very real). What I mean by saying the romance was very real is that I can actually see it happening, there is a lot of books where the romance is glorious but very hypothetical and fake. All...more
When Freia's best pal: Kate, starts hanging out with the posh B group, Freia finds out that it is hard to fit in with the Bs, but she just has to fit in.. to keep her friendship with Kate. Directly or not, she starts being 'the closest thing to a friend' to him. She also starts being her real self! Not the "Posh Fake Try...more

Aimee Said has such a talent for making her teens seem real – so much so that I cringed a few times while reading Finding Freia Lockhart, because Freia reminded me a little too much of myself at fifteen! The situations here are all very realistic as well. School musicals are notorious for causing drama (and gossip), and struggles with personal identity and changing friendship groups are ones that will ring true for most reader...more
When Freia's best friend Kate starts hanging out with westside's popular group, the B's, Freia knows if she wants to keep the friendship, she's going to have to fit in
but how much fake tan, lip gloss and boy talk can Freia stand? Especially now that she's been roped into the school musical.
so far I am enjoying this book
but it's getting a bit confusing once in a while
