Teaches both math and sharing. Two friends figure out how they can divide 1, or 2, or 3, or (oh joy) 4 cookies! They consider all the options, 1 for me and 3 for you, etc. And then apply it to 3 toy cars to play with. Again, considering all the options and figuring how to make it fair. A good book to initiate discussions about sharing, and to get kids thinking about some math concepts.

This is a cute book about math and sharing for young children. It's a good way to emphasize even and odd numbers, as well as being equal. The pictures and wording are very clear for students to count and split objects. Teachers can use this in the beginning of the year to stress the importance of sharing and also to work with basic numbers.

Good book to use as an introduction to adding and sharing. I would use this in Pre-k or early kindergarten.
This is excellent for sharing matter. I love when animals are use to tell stories.
Early level counting book. Good pre-K counting and sharing lesson opener.
