Piercy's book is a good source of inspiration for those who want to adapt their Passover seders to their particular style and persuasion. All the traditional pieces are explained with her musings (mixed with some research) about the history of a particular haggadah addition or traditional food. She includes many poems and prayers that she and her friends/family developed over the years for their seder as well as recipes, both for seders and for the week of Passover.
