This was my second Cari Quinn book that I've read on my Kindle. Actually, I think I read them out of order, now after having finished this one, I realized it is the first of the two. But in order or not, these are great books. If you're in the mood to read something super hot, and steamy, that actually has a good story and good character development, these are for you. First line: She’d finally done it. Rather than calling out for a lunchtime delivery of Moo Goo Gai Pan, she’d placed an order for sex.
Memorable Scenes:
- The great reveal scene > the where and how of Alex revealing his identity was excellently done

Holly Burrows is in her late thirties and a senior associate at a law firm. She’s independent, she knows what she wants and goes for it, and she’s ambitious and dedicated. After a disastrous marriage, she’s done with relationships but like any healthy woman she does have a sexual itch to scratch so she signs up on a singles dating site where she ultimately finds much more than she was looking for.

Alex Stryker is in his mid twenties and Holly's new colleague (junior) at the law firm. He’s also the owner of the Hunk Du Jour website, the dating site Holly signs up for to find a new adventure. Intrigued by Holly he is the one to guide her to his site and he uses his alter ego, Kent to initiate contact with her, knowing he won’t be able to keep his identity a secret for long

In this short novella there is no room for secondary characters so the only fly-by one is Holly’s whiny ex husband who makes a brief appearance on the phone.

FULL DISCLOSURE is a great erotic romance. It’s fast-paced, to the point, very well written and it checked all the boxes of things I like in erotic romance. Alex is hot, Holly is great and the sex scenes are sizzling. It was a very fast read because of the pace and easy, fluent writing. Once I read the first chapter I couldn't tear myself away from the book and read it in a few quick hours. Of course I was wondering when and how Alex would tell Holly about his alter ego and I loved the way this was done and the emotional make-up scene and sex afterwards. This was a novella I have very little complaints about it. The characters were well-rounded, the story, though short, wasn’t rushed, there was heat, conflict, emotion, humor and love. In short, it full-filled all the wishes I have as a romance reader and kept me engaged to the very last page.

Fancy a scorching hot Cougar read? FULL DISCLOSURE delivers it and then some. It’s playful and intense, hot and touching and I absolutely adored it!

I totally agree with that. After a crappy marriage with a jerk of a man who treated her less than a woman, she freaking deserves to go out and get her some. I had Full Disclosure by Cari Quinn on my to buy list after hearing good things about it around the Twitterverse, so i was tickled pink (hot pink ;) ) when the author sent me a copy to read to see what i thought of it. And it sat in my TBR mountain just waiting for my list to dwindle and read. And dammit why did i wait, 'cause this book in a word: Erotically Awesome! (yes ok, that's two words :P )

Heavily character driven, my favourite kind of book, is all about Holly and Alex. Holly two years divorced has been exchanging hot emails with a surfer guy Kent she met on a date site, ready to bump hips with him, she first goes out to lunch with friend and collegue Alex, i wont tell you how it goes with Kent or how it progresses from lunch to the bedroom..but DAYUM! From there it is a fast rollercoater ride of Intense passionate no holds barred sex scenes, I love Alex's confidence and Holly's "go get 'em" attitude, it's why the fast leap from lunch to sex worked and didn't feel rushed or awkward in any way.

The book jogs along nicely, i could have read a further two hundreds pages and not have been bored of these characters, there is some laugh out loud moments, a sentence about "tentacles" in particular that had me LOLing suddenly, i'll let you discover just how that is slotted into the story for yourself ;)

I don't usually like many heroines, there's always an irritating quality about them, they're either too tough and kick ass, too slutty, too whiny, too mousy...but in the words of Goldilocks, Holly was just right! She had a wicked sense of humour and you have to admire a cougar for getting a guy like Alex who was just all that and a bag of crisps!

For a spell bindingly erotic read that has some of the best sex scenes i've ever read, this is the book for you, Cari Quinn leaves nothing out of the love scenes and for a character driven book you really feel you know both Holly and Alex, the writing style i loved, there was nothing that made me want to skip entire paragraphs, with an easy flow and since i've joined the ranks of big girl panties there wasn't anything that i found squick worthy, not to say it's vanilla in any way. Because it's not. SO NOT! I do like when a guy is inventive. S'all i'm saying!

If i had to think of a negative it would be i'd wished we'd seen Holly and Alex first meet, instead of joining their story mid way. It by no means detracts from the awesome that is Full Disclosure, it was just something fleetingly i'd thought about after i'd finished the book.

So what more can i say, except i LOVED it!(less)

Alex has a secret- a big secret. He is actually the owner of the site Hunk du Jour and he is also Kent. He has had a crush on Holly for the past three weeks, but knowing she is his senior at the firm and ten years older, he didn’t think she would accept his advances. Instead, he uses the pseudo-name and flirts with her that way. His plan at lunch is to come clean, but things change when the sexual tension between him and Holly explodes at lunch. He needs her now – and she is all willing.

Holly feels a little guilty for blowing off Kent, and means to make it up to him. After mind blowing with sex with Alex all afternoon, Holly is having the time of her life.

Full Disclosure has a great beginning and had me chuckling many times. Holly comes across a bit more silly, and desperate to get laid. The tension between her and Alex is immediate and never lets up. They can’t even make it all the way home before they have to pull over on the side of the road to do the dirty. Although at first she has some insecurities about their age difference, that soon flies out the window. Holly knows what she wants and she is not afraid to tell or ask for it. Cari Quinn writes really hot sex scenes!

Towards the end however, my love affair started to dwindle. Once all secrets are revealed, Alex starts acting like Holly is in the wrong for emailing Kent to apologize for not meeting him – saying Holly was almost cheating on him. They had been intimate for one afternoon. Really not grounds to start throwing that word around. He makes her feel guilty, when really he was the one in the wrong tricking Holly with Kent. Their relationship really took a serious tone after one day of really getting to know one another and that to me is way too quick for that to happen.

Full Disclosure has a fun start and is a really steamy book. The ending is a bit disappointing but I will definitely read Cari Quinn again!

The only thoughts I had when I read this was 'Alex! Oh, Alex! ALEX!'

Holly, who? :)

I started reading this Sunday night and wanted to read through the night but fell asleep with my face on my Kindle. I could only continue Full Disclosure after work and by then I was all 'What is that toy Alex has? And where can I get it?'

I finished the book with a happy sigh...and now I'm off to the beach to hunt me down a brainy, entrepreneurial, surfer dude.

Love this book! More Cari Quinn please!

I loved No Flowers Required and liked Insatiable. The stories were good enough to Cary the hot sex scenes and make the stories richer. But I did find full disclosure as captivating. Still a decent read but not my favorite from this author.

Wowza! Full Disclosure is one hot read. Alex is a man who knows what he wants and doesn't hesitate to go after it. I normally don't read stories about May/December romances but Cari Quinn delivers with this one. Alex and Holly burn up the pages with their hot sex scenes. Alex is one sexy mofo and I love how the age difference isn't an issue for him. Alex is sexy, mature and he wants Holly. It's Holly that has reservations about their relationship. This was cute, sexy and hot. I loved Alex's character. Holly had a lot of hang-ups, but I'm glad they were able to get through things. I wish it had been a little longer since the conflict and resolution didn't take more than 1 or 2 pages, but other than that, I devoured this little gem. :)
